Weakly convex and convex domination numbers of some products of graphs
PublikacjaIf $G=(V,E)$ is a simple connected graph and $a,b\in V$, then a shortest $(a-b)$ path is called a $(u-v)$-{\it geodesic}. A set $X\subseteq V$ is called {\it weakly convex} in $G$ if for every two vertices $a,b\in X$ exists $(a-b)$- geodesic whose all vertices belong to $X$. A set $X$ is {\it convex} in $G$ if for every $a,b\in X$ all vertices from every $(a-b)$-geodesic belong to $X$. The {\it weakly convex domination number}...

Equitable colorings of some variation of corona products of cubic graphs
PublikacjaThe problem of determining the value of equitable chromatic number for multicoronas of cubic graphs is studied. We provide some polynomially solvable cases of cubical multicoronas and give simple linear time algorithms for equitable coloring of such graphs which use almost optimal number of colors in the remaining cases.

Understanding the origin of high corrosion inhibition efficiency of bee products towards aluminium alloys in alkaline environments
PublikacjaVarious bee products were found to be efficient corrosion inhibitors of aluminium in different environments. In particular, bee pollen was found to be highly effective in alkaline electrolytes, yet its highly complex composition and possible synergistic interactions hinder determination of the compounds acting as active corrosion inhibitors. The main purpose of the following work is to investigate the effect of solvents used for...

Investigation of RH effect on uncommon limonene ozonolysis products and SOA formation in indoor air with real time measurement techniques
PublikacjaScientific interest in SOA influence on indoor air quality increases since last 20 years. It is well known, that particles of nano-sized diameter pose a threat for human health causing, among others: eye, upper airway irritation, inflammatory response in cells, worsening asthma, hypertension, diabetes, and central nervous dysfunction. Terpenes are reactive VOCs, commonly emitted in indoor air and considered to be SOA precursors...

Influence of microstructure on properties of 18Cr-10Ni-Ti stainless steel products.

Estimation of smokers' exposure to mercury from combustible tobacco products, based on the approach used in food consumers’ exposure estimation
PublikacjaSmoking has been known to mankind for centuries, but it is only in recent decades that much attention has been paid to the harmfulness of this habit. Mercury inhalation is particularly dangerous in this respect and smoking creates extremely favorable conditions for the emission and targeted delivery of this element into the lungs. Despite this fact, a lack of a clear method for estimating the exposure of tobacco consumers to mercury...

Fate and significance of phthalates and bisphenol A in liquid by-products generated during municipal solid waste mechanical-biological pre-treatment and disposal
PublikacjaSamples of liquid by-products generated by municipal solid waste plants (MSWPs) were tested for the presence of phthalates (PAEs) and bisphenol A (BPA). The results indicated that the wastewater generated during mechanical (sorting unit - SU) and biological (composting unit - CU) pre-treatment (MBT) of residual (mixed) solid waste is a significant source of these compounds. The concentrations of PAEs (up to 32222 lg/L) and BPA...

Solvent Impact on the Diversity of Products in the Reaction of Lithium Diphenylphosphide and a Ti(III) Complex Supported by a tBu2P–P(SiMe3) Ligand
PublikacjaWe present two important trends in the reactivity ofthe titanium complex [MeNacNacTi(Cl){η2-P(SiMe3)-PtBu2}](MeNacNac− = [Ar]NC(Me)CHC(Me)N[Ar]; Ar = 2,6-iPr2Ph)with nucleophilic reagents RLi (R = Ph2P,tBuO, (Me3Si)2N, andtBu2N) depending on the reaction medium. Reaction in nonpolarsolvent (toluene) leads to three main products: via an autoredoxprocess and nucleophilic substitution at the Ti-atom to afford theTi(IV) complex [MeNacNacTi(R){η2-P-PtBu2}]...

Eqiuitable coloring of corona products of cubic graphs is harder than ordinary coloring
PublikacjaA graph is equitably k-colorable if its vertices can be partitioned into k independent sets in such a way that the number of vertices in any two sets differ by at most one. The smallest k for which such a coloring exists is known as the equitable chromatic number of G. In this paper the problem of determinig the equitable coloring number for coronas of cubic graphs is studied. Although the problem of ordinary coloring of coronas...
