A breath of fresh air - social cognitive career theory in studying entrepreneurial intentions
PublikacjaA pinch of robustness and a pinch of freshness create an interesting story. That is why this study focuses on entrepreneurial intentions from an alternative theoretical perspective in an underexplored context. In this paper, it is argued that social cognitive career theory is relevant to the study of individual entrepreneurial cognition and behaviour, and it offers a solid framework in entrepreneurship research. This paper expands...

Sulfate reducing ammonium oxidation (SULFAMMOX) process under anaerobic conditions
PublikacjaSulfate (SO42-) can be an electron acceptor for ammonium nitrogen (NH4+) oxidation under anaerobic conditions. The process is known as sulfammox and can be a viable alternative to conventional, nitrite (NO2-) dependent, anammox. Two bacterial species, including Bacillus Benzoevorans and Brocadia Anammoxoglobus Sulfate, can perform that process. With sulfammox, an economically inefficient pre-nitration step (due to aeration) is...

Attractors of dissipative homeomorphisms of the infinite surface homeomorphic to a punctured sphere
PublikacjaA class of dissipative orientation preserving homeomorphisms of the infinite annulus, pairs of pants, or generally any infinite surface homeomorphic to a punctured sphere isconsidered. We prove that in some isotopy classes the local behavior of such homeomor-phisms at a fixed point, namely the existence of so-called inverse saddle, impacts thetopology of the attractor — it cannot be arcwise connected
