Sharp bounds for the complexity of semi-equitable coloring of cubic and subcubic graphs
PublicationIn this paper we consider the complexity of semi-equitable k-coloring of the vertices of a cubic or subcubic graph. We show that, given n-vertex subcubic graph G, a semi-equitable k-coloring of G is NP-hard if s >= 7n/20 and polynomially solvable if s <= 7n/21, where s is the size of maximum color class of the coloring.

Influence of surfactants on interaction forces between polyethylene surfaces in a hydrocarbon solvent.
PublicationPrzeprowadzono bezpośrednie pomiary oddziaływań międzyfazowych pomiędzy cząstkami polietylenowymi w środowisku n-tetradekanu z dodatkiem surfaktantów(kwasu larynowego i dodecyloaminy). Dodatek surfaktantów wpłynął na wzrost oddziaływań odpychających pomiędzy powierzchniami polietylenowymi, szczególnie w przypadku dodecyloaminy. Zaobserwowano obecność wzrostu sferycznych sił odpychających ze wzrostem temperatury.

Halogen bonded polypseudorotaxanes based on a pillar[5]arene host
PublicationTwo crystalline supramolecular polypseudorotaxanes were obtained by combining permethylated pillar[5]arene as a macrocyclic wheel with 1,4-bis(1-imidazolyl)butane and 1,4-bis(iodoethynyl)benzene or 1,4-diiodo-1,3-butadiyne linked by C–I⋯N halogen bonds and creating a polyrotaxane axis. The resulting highly ordered supramolecular arrays were characterized by X-ray crystallography.

Określono normy ostrożnościowe pozwalające na określenie poziomu ryzyka kredytowego banku. Uwzględniono w n ich współczynniki wypłacalności, wymogi kapitałowe dotyczące ryzyka kredytowego oraz wielkość należności zagrożonych banków.

Związek ten powstaje w późniejszym stadium reakcji. Jest to pierwszy polimer koordynacyjny wśród znanych soli litowych trifosfanów.

PublicationZmierzono całkowity przekrój czynny na rozproszenie elektronów na drobinach c-(CH2)3O w zakresie energii 1 - 400 eV. Wyniki porównano z elastycznymi i jonizacyjnymi przekrojami czynnymi obliczonymi dla tej drobiny. Przedyskutowano energetyczną zależność całkowitego przekroju czynnego na rozproszenie dla rodziny eterów cyklicznych (CH2)nO, n=2-4.

Tribology of bone tissue culture in bioreactor.
PublicationOpracowano system tribologiczny powstających sił tarcia w bioreaktorze. Pomimo, że wartości sił tarcia osiągają wartości poniżej 0,1 N to mają one decydujący wpływ na wartość porostu tkanki. Mechanika opływu tkanki cieczą o właściwościach biologicznych nienewtonowskich oraz hydrodynamiczna teoria opływu warstwy przyściennej jest bazą wyznaczania parametrów trybologicznychniniejszej pracy.
