PublicationIn this paper, a volunteer grid called Comcute is studied. Moreover, the harmony search scheduler is proposed. This scheduler has been designed for efficient using some resources of volunteer grid. The harmony search scheduler optimizes both a workload of a bottleneck computer and the cost of grid. Obok kotłów olejowych zastosowano, jako podstawowe źrodło ciepła, zespół sprężarkowych pomp grzejnych o znacznej mocy. PublicationMultibeam sonar records feature high vertical and horizontal resolution. Interpolating and approximating, eventually displaying of of high volume scattered 3D raster data leads to some difficulties related to a computer processing power. Modelowanie przepływu pęcherzykowego w kanale pionowym
PublicationPrzedstawiono zastosowanie własnego modelu do obliczeń przepływu pęcherzykowego w kanale pionowym. Model składa się z czterech równań różniczkowych a mian.: równania opisującego pole naprężeń stycznych w przepływie, stopień zapełnienia, prędkość poprzeczną pęcherzyka oraz pole prędkości. Wyniki obliczeń porównano z danymi eksperymentalnymi uzyskując satysfakcjonującą zgodność.

Equitable coloring of graphs. Recent theoretical results and new practical algorithms
PublicationIn this paper we survey recent theoretical results concerning conditions for equitable colorability of some graphs and recent theoretical results concerning the complexity of equitable coloring problem. Next, since the general coloring problem is strongly NP-hard, we report on practical experiments with some efficient polynomial-time algorithms for approximate equitable coloring of general graphs.
