Structural and electrical properties of Sr(Ti,Fe)O3-δ materials for SOFC cathodes
PublikacjaW niniejszym artykule, dwa związki SrTiO3 domieszkowanego Fe przebadano pod względem przydatności na katody w tlenkowych ogniwach paliwowych. SrTi0.65Fe0.35O3 i SrTi0.5Fe0.5O3 zostały przebadane pod względem reaktywności chemicznej z elektrolitem YSZ. Stwierdzono, że przewodnictwo elektryczne tych związków jest stosunkowo niskie: 0,4 S/cm i 2 S/cm odpowiednio dla STF35 i STF50.

PublikacjaW artykule przedstawiono światłowodowy system dwuwymiarowej wizualizacji niejednorodnych struktur warstw ceramicznych. Omówiono projekt i fizyczną realizację układu wykorzystującego optyczną, niskokoherentną reflektometrię optyczną, która umożliwia niedestrukcyjne obrazowanie wewnętrznych struktur różnych materiałów. Simulations of Shear Zones and Cracks in Engineering Materials Using eXtended Finite Element Method
PublikacjaNumerical simulations of cracks and shear zones in quasi-brittle materials are presented. Extended Finite Element Method is used to describe both cracks and shear zones. In a description of tensile cracks, a Rankine criterion is assumed. A discrete Mohr-Coulomb law is adopted for simulations of shear zones. Results of simple numerical tests: unixial tension, bending and biaxial compression are demonstrated.

PublikacjaArtykuł porównuje wyniki DEM i MES dla testu bezpośredniego ścinania materiałów granulowanych. Obliczenia MES wykonano przy zastosowaniu mikropolarnego modelu hipoplastycznego. W obliczeniach DEM z kulami i momentami kontaktu zwrócono uwagę na zjawiska mikrostrukturalne w strefie ścinania na poziomie ziaren.

Experimental study on shear localization in granular materials within combined strain and stress field
PublikacjaLokalizacja odkształceń stycznych w materiałach granulowanych była przedmiotem badań doświadczalnych podczas przemieszczania się sztywnej ścianki. Wykonano pomiary przemieszczeń stosując metodę korelacji obrazów cyfrowych. Natomiast pomiary średnich naprężeń wykonano stosując metodę foto-sprężystości. Zastosowano jako materiał granulowany piasek oraz szklane kulki.
