PublikacjaAn easy and efficient synthesis of pseudo tripeptide containing a thiomalonamide moiety was developed. Isothiocyanate derivatives of amino acids react smoothly with 2,2-dimethyl-1,3-dioxane-4,6-dione yielding new thiocarbamoyl Meldrum's acids. Thermal decomposition of this new Meldrum's acid derivatives generate thiocarbamoyl ketenes, which acylate amino acid esters to give pseudo tripeptides.

PublikacjaPrzedstawiono wyniki analizy oporów skrawania drewna zmrożonego podczas przecierania pryzm sosnowych na pilarce ramowej za pomocą cienkich pił. Badania prowadzono dla temperatur drewna -5 st. C, -20 st. C oraz dla porównania w temperaturze +18 st. C. Wilgotność drewna wynosiła 30%. PublikacjaThis paper investigates the complexity of scheduling biprocessor tasks on dedicated processors to minimize mean flow time. Since the general problem is strongly NP-hard, we assume some restrictions on task lengths and the structure of associated scheduling graphs. Of particular interest are acyclic graphs. In this way we identify a borderline between NP-hard and polynomially solvable special cases.
