The structure of the data flow in integrated urban traffic management systems – the case of TRISTAR system
PublikacjaThe purpose of the article is to offer some insight into the data flow architecture in the Tri-City’s integrated traffic management system called TRISTAR. To that end selected elements of TRISTAR are identified and described as well as the structure for collecting and exchanging data within different sub-systems. Finally, the article highlights how the TRISTAR system can be extended by adding new elements and modules.

PublikacjaThe article presents some problems of seat belt use by car drivers and passengers. It looks in particular at seat belt use and effectiveness in selected countries. Dedicated scheduling of tasks to minimize mean flow time
PublikacjaThis paper investigates the complexity of scheduling biprocessor tasks on dedicated processors to minimize mean flow time. Since the general problem is strongly NP-hard, we assume some restrictions on task lengths and the structure of associated scheduling graphs. Of particular interest are acyclic graphs. In this way we identify a borderline between NP-hard and polynomially solvable special cases.

PublikacjaOkręty wojenne podlegają okresowemu badaniu poziomu poszczególnych pól fizycznych. Ze względu na zagrożenie minowe badane jest między innymi pole magnetyczne okrętu. Badania te pozwalają wyznaczyć sygnatury magnetyczne okrętów. Przedstawiono multidipolowy model pola magnetycenego okrętu, który pozwala na wyznaczenie parametrów sygnatury magnetycznej okrętu.

PublikacjaBadano wpływ zewnętrznego pola elektrycznego na zanik luminescencji w układzie dendrymer aminowy m-MTDATA:fenantrolina BPT:poliwęglan PC oraz domieszkowanym organicznym kompleksem platyny. Zaobserwowano silne wygaszenie luminescencji na skutek dysocjacji ekscypleksów singletowych i trypletowych. Pole elektryczne obniżało zarówno amplitudę, jak i czas życia luminescencji.

Equitable coloring of corona multiproducts of graphs
PublikacjaWe give some results regarding the equitable chromatic number for l-corona product of two graphs: G and H, where G is an equitably 3- or 4-colorable graph and H is an r-partite graph, a cycle or a complete graph. FE-simulations of a direct and a true simple shear test
PublikacjaPorównano dwa aparaty ścinania: aparat bezpośredniego ścinania i aparat prostego ścinania. Analizy pola naprężeń i odkształceń dokonano stosując metodę elementów skończonych i mikropolarne prawo hypoplastyczne. Analiza ta pokazała, że pole naprężeń i odkształceń jest niejednorodne w obu aparatach, szczególnie w aparacie bezpośredniego ścinania.

PublikacjaW artykule przedstawiono metodę pomiaru współczynnika oporu toczenia przy wykorzystaniu przyczepy opracowanej w Zakładzie Pojazdów na Politechnice Gdańskiej. Następnie omówiono opatentowany układ bezwładnościowy do korekcji wpływu wzniesienia oraz metodę korekcji wpływu przyspieszenia wzdłużnego. Functional delay fractional equations
PublikacjaIn this paper, we discuss functional delay fractional equations. A Banach fixed point theorem is applied to obtain the existence (uniqueness) theorem. We also discuss such problems when a delay argument has a form α(t) = αt, 0 < α < 1, by Rusing the method of successive approximations. Some existence results are also formulated in this case. This standard is dedicated to use mainly in home automation systems, but its properties enable to use it in dispersed measurement systems and support wireless communication between measurement nodes in a mesh-type network. Measurement system based on USB Z-Wave controller
PublikacjaA wireless measurement system based on the Z-Wave standard is presented in this paper. The system is composed of a U SB Z-Stick Gen5 controller connected to a Personal Computer and a Fibaro controller FGRGBWM-441. Operation of the system is controlled by software written in C++ using OpenZWave library. Some metrological aspects of the system are evaluated: accuracy, linearity, resolution and frequency of voltage measurements.
