DEGRADATION OF GFRP MARINE LAMINATES WITH NANO PARTICLE MODIFIED COATINGS
PublikacjaWater absorption and surface blistering behaviour was studied for polyester-matrix laminates with SiO2 nanoparticle reinforced gel coats. ANALYSIS OF THE p53 PROTEIN GENE EXPRESSION MODEL
PublikacjaWe study the asymptotic behaviour of the solutions of the p53-Mdm2 model proposed by Monk (2003). The p53 gene is crucial for cellular inhibition of the angiogenesis process, while Mdm2 is a negative regulator of the p53 tumor-suppressor. We investigate the stability of the positive steady state and perform some numerical experiments.

Effect of initial imperfection on buckling of thin-walled I columns
PublikacjaEffects of initial geometrical imperfections on critical buckling loads of thin-walled I columns are investigated. Torsional and flexural buckling are taken into account. The column behaviour is described in accord to the theory of thin-walled beams with nondeformable cross-section.
