Simulation of fracture process in concrete elements with steel fibres using discrete lattice model
PublikacjaArtykuł omawia wyniki modelowania procesu zarysowania w elementach betonowych zawierające stalowe włókna przy zastosowaniu dyskretnego modelu kratownicowego. Beton był modelowany na poziomie mezoskali z uwzględnieniem 5 faz: kruszywa, zaczynu cementowego, włókien i obu stref kontaktu. Obliczenia wykonano dla jednoosiowego ściskania, jednoosiowego rozciągania i zginania prostego.

Environmental Degradation of Ramie Fibre Reinforced Biocomposites
PublikacjaThe degradation process of two kinds of biocomposites, Ramie fibre/Ecoflex R/E and ramie fibre/cellulose nanofibre reinforced corn starch resin R/CS, were studied. It was demonstrated that R/CS degraded faster in natural environments.

PublikacjaW niniejszym artykule zaproponowano nową technikę analizy światłowodów fotonicznych. Zaprezentowany algorytm jest kombinacją metody redukcji rzędu modelu oraz techniki dyskretnych rozwinięć funkcyjnych i pozwala w znaczącym stopniu zmniejszyć liczbę zmiennych (nawet do 85%), redukując (nawet 16 krotnie) czas symulacji.

PublikacjaThe total bondage number b_t(G) of a graph G with no isolated vertex is the cardinality of a smallest set of edges E'⊆E(G) for which (1) G−E' has no isolated vertex, and (2) γ_t(G−E')>γ_t(G). PublikacjaW pracy badano możliwości wykorzystania przenoszących stan polaryzacji światłowodów typu Side-Hole do pomiaru siły działającej prostopadle do osi symetrii światłowodu. Na podstawie wyników modelowania stwierdzono, ze niektóre światłowody tego typu charakteryzują się większą czułością aniżeli standardowe światłowody przenoszące stan polaryzacji.
