Effects of metallic silver particles on resonance energy transfer between fluorophores bound to DNA.
PublicationZbadano wpływ filmów wysepek metalicznego srebra na rezonansowe przekazywanie energii między fluoroforami związanymi z DNA. Donorem i akceptorem były odpowiednio 4´,6 diamidyno-2-fenylindon i jodek propydyny. Zmierzone dla tego układu czasy zaniku i widma fluorescencji pokazują, że sąsiedztwo cząstek srebra dramatycznie zwiększa promień Forstera, a tym samym i przekazywanie energii w znakowanym DNA.

Positive solutions to Sturm–Liouville problems with non-local boundary conditions
PublicationIn this paper, the existence of at least three non-negative solutions to non-local boundary-value problems for second-order differential equations with deviating arguments α and ζ is investigated. Sufficient conditions, which guarantee the existence of positive solutions, are obtained using the Avery–Peterson theorem. We discuss our problem for both advanced and delayed arguments. PublicationOpisano badania kompozytów: silumin AlSi11-żelazo albo silumin AlSi11-stal narzędziowa N9 (otrzymanych in situ), a także samego siluminu AlSi11 w skojarzeniu z żeliwem 350, przy tarciu ślizgowym w ruchu posuwisto-zwrotnym.
