PublicationPrzedstawiono badania dotyczące wpływu temperatury na właściwości sedymentacyjne osadu czynnego w dwóch komunalnych oczyszczalniach ścieków. Sezonowe zmiany opadalności osadu związane są ze zmianami temperatury oraz zmianą składu populacji bakterii osadu czynnego (bakterie nitkowate). Na rozwój tych bakterii wpływa nie tylko temperatura, lecz także intensywność napowietrzania oraz dostępność substancji pożywkowych.

Wpływ temperatury procesu na przemiany tłuszczu podczas głębokiego smażenia
PublicationBadano wpływ temperatury w zakresie 160 - 190 C na przemiany termooksydatywne tłuszczów smażalniczych. Miarą degradacji tłuszczu była zmiana jego lepkości. Stwierdzono, że wzrost temperatury i czasu smażenia powoduje wzrost lepkości tłuszczu. Szybkość tych zmian była różna dla różnych surowców tłuszczowych. Wyznaczono równania opisujące wzrost lepkości tłuszczów w funkcji czasu dla temperatur: 160, 175 i 190 C.

Szacowanie estymaty menzurandu temperatury skóry człowieka podczas próby wysiłkowej
PublicationW artykule zaprezentowano wyniki pomiarów temperatury skóry człowieka podczas próby wysiłkowej. Ponieważ uzyskane wyniki nie podlegają rozkładowi normalnemu, wyznaczono wartości pięciu różnych estymatorów menzurandu. Otrzymane rezultaty wykazały, że w rozważanym przypadku najlepszy estymator menzurandu otrzymujemy z metody bootstrap, ponieważ charakteryzuje się on najmniejszym odchyleniem standardowym.
