MEASUREMENT OF NOISE IN SUPERCAPACITORS
PublikacjaA developed method and measurement setup for measurement of noise generated in a supercapacitor is presented. The requirements for noise data recording are considered and correlated with working modes of supercapacitors. An example of results of low-frequency noise measurements in commercially available supercapacitors are presented. The ability of flicker noise measurements suggests that they can be used to assess quality of tested supercapacitors.

Convenient and Efficient Synthesis of Functionalized 2-Sulfenylindoles
PublikacjaA simple, efficient, and practical sulfenylation at the C2 position of N-tosylindoles under mild conditions was developed. The designed transformation is based on the reaction of N-tosylindoles with BuLi and S-alkyl, and S-aryl phosphorodithioates or thiotosylates to produce 2-sulfenylindoles in moderate to high yields. Possibilities of heat transfer augmentation in heat exchangers with minichannels for marine applications
PublikacjaIn the paper, new trends in development of microchannel heat exchangers are presented. The exchangers developed in this way can be applied in marine applications. Main attention was focused on heat exchangers design with reduced size of passages namely based on microchannels. Efficient method for octahedral NH2-MIL-125 (Ti) synthesis: Fast and mild conditions
PublikacjaA new hot injection method for preparing octahedral NH2-MIL-125 (Ti) was developed. This method is six times faster and conducted under milder conditions, i.e., at 120°C in a flask, and exhibits higher crystal formation efficiency than the commonly used solvothermal method while maintaining comparable structural, optical, and photocatalytic properties.

Isothiocyanate derivatives of amino acids react smoothly with 2,2-dimethyl-1,3-dioxane-4,6-dione yielding new thiocarbamoyl Meldrum's acids. Stress analysis of the bridge hangers in terms of the fatigue verification
PublikacjaThe paper presents the results of numerical stress analysis of the bridge rod hangers. Two types of hangers were taken into account, i.e. the bolted hanger and the welded hanger. PublikacjaA one-pot synthesis for the preparation of N-alkenyl-malonamides and N-alkenyl-thiomalonamides was developed. 5-[Hydroxy/mercapto(aryl/alkylamino)methylene]-2,2-dimethyl-1,3-dioxane-4,6-dione act as a source of ketenes that react with the tautomeric form of alkyl-(2-phenyl-propylidene)-amines. A possible [2+2] or [4+2] cycloaddition product of ketene to imines was not observed.

Determination of biogenic amines in beers by LC-MS/MS
PublikacjaAnalysis of biogenic amines in beers was carried out by HPLC-MS/MS after their derivatization with p-toluenesulfonyl chloride (tosyl chloride). The developed method has been applied for analysis of eighteen biogenic amines in twelve samples of different kind of beers (Lager, Strong Lager, Schwarzbier, Weizenbier, Pils, nonalcoholic Pils, Stout). The method is sensitive and the results precise for majority of the analytes.
