PublikacjaWe study the convergence of iterates of quadratic stochastic operators that are mean monotonic. They are defined on the convex set of probability measures concentrated on a weakly compact order interval S = [0, f] of a fixed Banach lattice F. We study their regularity and identify the limits of trajectories either as the “infimum” or “supremum” of the support of initial distributions.

On Non-holonomic Boundary Conditions within the Nonlinear Cosserat Continuum
PublikacjaWithin the framework of the nonlinear micropolar elastic continuum we discuss non-holonomic kinematic boundary conditions. By non-holonomic boundary conditions we mean linear relations between virtual displacements and virtual rotations given on the boundary. Such boundary conditions can be used for modelling of complex material interactions in the vicinity of the boundaries and interfaces.

DBpedia As a Formal Knowledge Base – An Evaluation
PublikacjaDBpedia is widely used by researchers as a mean of accessing Wikipedia in a standardized way. In this paper it is characterized from the point of view of questions answering system. Simple implementation of such system is also presented. The paper also characterizes alternatives to DBpedia in form of OpenCyc and YAGO knowledge bases. A comparison between DBpedia and those knowledge bases is presented.

Dane BadawczeThe data set contains the results of numerical modelling of sea level fluctuations in the Baltic Sea in the Baltic Sea since 1998. A long-term reanalysis was performed using a three-dimensional hydrodynamic model PM3D (Kowalewski and Kowalewska-Kalkowska, 2017), a new version of the M3D model (Kowalewski, 1997).

PublikacjaThis paper presents the problem of creating affect-aware video games that use different information channels, such as image, video, physiological signals, input devices, and player’s behaviour, for emotion recognition. Assessment of hydrogenation of deposited metal of P 62 MR covered electrodes
PublikacjaThe determination of diffusible hydrogen content in deposited metal of P 62 MR covered electrodes for manual metal arc welding by mercury method was carried out. The test results indicate that covered electrodes 62 P MR grade generate a mean of 4.02 ml/100g of diffusible hydrogen in deposited metal, which is consistent with H5 class.

Narrowband Transmission Quality in Presence of Modified IEEE 802.15.4a Impulse Radio Interference
PublikacjaThis paper presents results of measurement of narrowband transmission quality in presence of impulse radio UWB interference. IEEE 802.15.4a UWB signal is being used as interferer, also with frame structure modifications which lead to change spectrum of the interference. A Study on Influence of Normalization Methods on Music Genre Classification Results Employing kNN Algorithms
PublikacjaThis paper presents a comparison of different normalization methods applied to the set of feature vectors of music pieces. Test results show the influence of min-nlax and Zero-Mean normalization methods, employing different distance functions (Euclidean, Manhattan, Chebyshev, Minkowski) as a pre-processing for genre classification, on k-Nearest Neighbor (kNN) algorithm classification results.

Simulation investigation of perovskite-based solar cells
PublikacjaThree models of thin-layer lead-halide perovskite solar cells with different electron-transport layers (TiO2,SnO2,ZnO) were investigatedby the simulation method. The perovskite layer thickness was optimized for all the systems. The analysis of the standard photovoltaic cell performanceparameters at various operating temperatures was performed.
