IRR (Irianian Rial) in comparison to the USD (IRR/USD)
Open Research DataCurrent problem of the Iranian economy is unstable exchange rate of Iranian currency Rial (IRR) to the US dollar (USD). Exchange rate was maintained at about 10-12 thousand IRR for 1 USD. However, the impact of sanctions depreciated Rial dramatically. In July 2013, the price of IRR has been reduced from 12 200 to 24 980 IRR/USD. At the same time, the...

Analytical design method of reverse curves
PublicationThe paper deals with a new approach relating to the design of the region of railway track direction alteration adapted to Mobile Satellite Measurements technique. The method may be particularly useful in situations when both the straights of the route directions cannot be connected in an elementary way using a circular arc with transition curves; this also refers to the application of a compound curve. Thus the only solution becomes...

CUTTING POWER FORECASTING WHILE WOOD SAWING: FRACTURE MECHANICS APPROACH AND AXELSSON’S MODEL COMPARISON
PublicationIn the classical approach, energetic effects (cutting forces and cutting power) of wood sawing process are generally calculated on the basis of the specific cutting resistance, which is in the case of wood cutting the function of more or less important factors. On the other hand, cutting forces (power) could be considered from a point of view of modern fracture mechanics. Another way is to forecast cutting power consumption on...
