Guido: a musical score recognition system
PublicationThis paper presents an optical music recognition system Guido that can automatically recognize the main musical symbols of music scores that were scanned or taken by a digital camera. The application is based on object model of musical notation and uses linguistic approach for symbol interpretation and error correction. PublicationIn the article the research and analysis of digital signal processing and its influence on accuracy of location estimation in developed inertial navigation system was presented. The purpose of the system is to localize moving people in indoor environment. During research a measuring unit for recording selected movement parameters was made. PublicationThis paper presents the problem of creating affect-aware video games that use different information channels, such as image, video, physiological signals, input devices, and player’s behaviour, for emotion recognition. EHD Flow Measured by 2D PIV in a Narrow Electrostatic Precipitator with Longitudinal Wire Electrode
PublicationIn this paper, results of the electrohydrodynamic (EHD) flow patterns in two narrow ESPs with longitudinally-to-flow wire electrode arepresented. The influence of the ESP geometry on the EHD flow generated in the ESP was investigated. Path Loss Measurements in Wideband Radio Link Designed for Maritime Environment
PublicationIn the article, the research and analysis of path loss in designed and evaluated digital radio link for high-speed data transmission in maritime environment is presented. Collected samples of received signal were used to determine the mean path loss and its standard deviation. Measuring campaign was carried out in a real maritime conditions.
