Applying Generative Modelling Tools to Explore Architectural Forms
PublicationThe digital generative methods open up new areas for exploration of formal and tectonic features, accentuate form’s ability to emerge and perform. They allow for automatic generation of variations of solutions, and digital production of “difficult” components of architectural forms using CNC technology. The paper deals with contemporary architectural explorations of complex , curvilinear surfaces in the context of generative...

Method of lines for nonlinear first order partial functional differential equations.
PublicationClassical solutions of initial problems for nonlinear functional differential equations of Hamilton--Jacobi type are approximated by solutions of associated differential difference systems. A method of quasilinearization is adopted. Sufficient conditions for the convergence of the method of lines and error estimates for approximate solutions are given. Nonlinear estimates of the Perron type with respect to functional variables...

From a Point Cloud to a 3D Model - an Exercise for Users of AutoCAD and Revit
PublicationThe paper presents a proposal of the topic of an exercise for students of building faculties as part of classes on 3D modelling. The task consists in creating a three-dimensional model based on the measurement obtained with the Leica P30 laser scanner. Due to the maximum number of points in the cloud in the presented programs, the output files must be properly cleared and reduced. The point cloud was pre-processed in Cyclone software....

Functional differential equations of second order.
PublicationPraca dotyczy problemu brzegowego dla równań różniczkowo-funkcyjnych 2-go rzędu. Stosując metodę kwasilinearyzacji pokazano, że odpowiednio skonstruowane ciągi monotoniczne są zbieżne do jedynego rozwiązania danego problemu i ustalono szybkość tej zbieżności. Pokazano również pewną relację pomiędzy rozwiązaniami odpowiednich liniowych równań różniczkowo-funkcyjnych z warunkami brzegowymi.

Synthesis of S-thioacyl dithiophosphates, efficient and chemoselectivethioacylating agents
PublicationŁatwo dostępne ditiofosforany acylu izomeryzują do monotiofosforanów O- iS-tioacylu. Związki te to doskonałe...

New reaction of dithiophosphoric acids with O-thioacylhydroxylamines. Nucleophilic substitution or single electron transfer process?

Periodic boundary value problems for functional differential equations
PublicationPrzedmiotem badań były równania różniczkowo-funkcyjne dość ogólnej postaci z warunkami brzegowymi typu okresowego. Podano warunki dostateczne na istnienie jedynego rozwiązania (zerowego) odpowiedniego zagadnienia liniowego z okresowymi warunkami brzegowymi. Te wyniki zostały wykorzystane aby pokazać, że odpowiednio skonstruowane ciągi monotoniczne są jednostajnie zbieżne do jedynego, w pewnym segmencie, rozwiązania zagadnienia...

Positive solutions to Sturm–Liouville problems with non-local boundary conditions
PublicationIn this paper, the existence of at least three non-negative solutions to non-local boundary-value problems for second-order differential equations with deviating arguments α and ζ is investigated. Sufficient conditions, which guarantee the existence of positive solutions, are obtained using the Avery–Peterson theorem. We discuss our problem for both advanced and delayed arguments. An example is added to illustrate the results.
