Curb-to-Barrier Face Distance Variation an a TB51 Bridge Barrier Crash Test Simulation
PublikacjaThis paper addresses the problem of road safety regarding barrier placement as relative to the curb. A short summary of existing regulations is presented. Numerical simulations using the explicit finite element system Ls- Dyna are shown. In the analysis, variable distance between the barrier and the curb is assumed. The obtained result reveals that the distance has little impact on the working width of the barrier.

PublikacjaW roku 2016 została wprowadzona nowelizacja normy EN 13108-8, odnoszącej się do destruktu asfaltowego. Wprowadza ona nowy termin oraz istotne zmiany w dotąd stosowanych definicjach i opisie mieszanki mineralno-asfaltowej, przeznaczonej do powtórnego wykorzystania. Autor omówił zakres zmian i zwrócił uwagę na ich możliwe konsekwencje w odniesieniu do praktyki stosowania destruktu asfaltowego w Polsce.

PublikacjaArtykuł porównuje wyniki DEM i MES dla testu bezpośredniego ścinania materiałów granulowanych. Obliczenia MES wykonano przy zastosowaniu mikropolarnego modelu hipoplastycznego.
