Sacral sound-engineering
PublikacjaOrganologic and campanologic acoustical problems due to applications to sacral objects are characterized on ground of numerous reviewed publications and engineering reports. Participations of several involved research centres, mostly Polish, at solving these problems are evaluated. Some desirable future developments are indicated. Interaction between acoustic and non-acoustic mode in bubbly liquid
PublikacjaThe nonlinear interaction of acoustic and entropy modes in a bubbly liquid is the subject of investigation. Thedynamic equation governing an excess density of the entropy mode is derived. Nonlinearity and dispersion are the reasons forexcitation of the entropy mode. Nonreciprocal Devices Utilizing Longitudinally Magnetized Ferrite Coupled Lines
PublikacjaThis chapter presents authors’ recent research on the nonreciprocal devices utilizing longitudinally magnetized ferrite coupled line (FCL) junction. The principle of operation of FCL junction is explained and the hybrid techniques of analysis are shown. Towards Robust Identification of Nonstationary Systems
PublikacjaThe article proposes a fast, two-stage method for the identification of nonstationary systems. The method uses iterative reweighting to robustify the identification process against the outliers in the measurement noise and against the numerical errors that may occur at the first stage of identification. We also propose an adaptive algorithm to optimize the values of the hyperparameters that are crucial for this new method.

Effect of initial imperfection on buckling of thin-walled I columns

Size-Reduction-Oriented Design of Compact CPW-Fed UWB Monopole Antenna
PublikacjaA structure and design optimization of compact CPW-fed UWB monopole antenna is presented. Explicit size reduction through constrained numerical optimization of all relevant geometry parameters of the structure leads to a very small footprint of only 321 mm2.
