PublicationThe authors conducted a research experiment to verify the hypothesis that it is possible to preserve the mesh in the operating field in large direct hernias (M3) without the need to use fixing materials. Zaprezentowano wyniki badań skłonności do tworzenia pęknięć zimnych metodą implant. Ustalono, że podczas spawania pod wodą stal 18G2A cechuje się zwiększoną wrażliwością na tworzenie się pęknięć zimnych w porównaniu ze spawaniem w środowisku powietrznym.
