On some accuracy limiting factors in wood sawing
PublicationPrzedstawiono szczegółową klasyfikację czynników determinujących dokładność przecinania drewna piłami. Uwzględniono w niej również pozorną utratę dokładności wynikającą z anatomicznej budowy drewna i metody pomiaru (wykorzystywanie lasera). Występujące błędy przecinania zobrazowano szeregiem przykładów z badań doświadczalnych.

Problem ten można rozwiązać w czasie liniowym dla k=2, jest on jednak NP-trudny dla każdego k>=3.
