PublicationKomórki rekombinantowej Escherichia coli transformowane genem beta-galaktozydazy z Pyrococcus woesei wykorzystano jako biokatalizator syntezy galaktozylofruktozy. Największą aktywność syntezy wymienionego prebiotyku (7,6 g/L x godz)uzyskano w 80C przy pH 5,4, stosując jako substrat roztwór zawierający 10% laktozy i 20% fruktozy. Dzintegrację prowadzono dla osadów ściekowych o zawartości suchej masy 4,8 i 12 g/l pzry trzech czasach sonifikacji i dla zakresu temperatur od 60 do 100 stopni Celsjusza. Zmiany podatności na odwadnianie badano testem czasu ssania kapilarnego (CSK) oraz testem wirówkowym oznaczając stopień rozdziału.

The effect of sulphonamides on activated sludge dehydrogenase activity
PublicationBadano wpływ wybranych sulfonamidów (sulfanilamidu SA, sulfacetamidu SCM oraz p-toluenosulfonamidu p-TSA) na aktywność dehydrogenz osadu czynnego w zakresie stężeń od 10 do 100 mg/l. Aktywność dehydrogenaz badano przy pomocy testu TTC. Stwierdzono, że wszystkie badane związki mają wyraźny wpływ na obniżenie aktywności dehydrogenaz osadu czynnego. Aktywność ta była najmocniej inhibitowana przez p-TSA.
