PublikacjaA complete – system of Maxwell equations is splitting into independent subsystems by means of a special dynamic projecting technique. The technique relies upon a direct link between field components that determine correspondent subspaces. The explicit form of links and corresponding subspace evolution equations are obtained in conditions of certain symmetry, it is illustrated by examples of spherical and quasi-one-dimensional waves.

Generating sequences of Lefschetz numbers of iterates
PublikacjaDu, Huang and Li showed in 2003 that the class of Dold–Fermat sequences coincides with the class of Newton sequences, which are defined in terms of socalled generating sequences. The sequences of Lefschetz numbers of iterates form an important subclass of Dold–Fermat (thus also Newton) sequences. Heteroclinic solutions of Allen-Cahn type equations with a general elliptic operator
PublikacjaWe consider a generalization of the Allen-Cahn type equation in divergence form $-\rm{div}(\nabla G(\nabla u(x,y)))+F_u(x,y,u(x,y))=0$. This is more general than the usual Laplace operator. We prove the existence and regularity of heteroclinic solutions under standard ellipticity and $m$-growth conditions.

EXAFS analysis of bismuth atom neighbourhood in reduced bismuth silicate glass
PublikacjaPraca zawiera wyniki strukturalnej analizy EXAFS niemodyfikowanego szkła bizmutowo-krzemianowego o składzie 0.4Bi2O3 0.6SiO2 oraz jego modyfikowanych w atmosferze gorącego wodoru form. Przedstawiono wpływ czasu redukcji na strukturę rozważanego szkła. Wyniki wskazują na silną tendencję do aglomeracji neutralnych atomów bizmutu w metaliczne nanostruktury.

PublikacjaW referacie przedstawiono analizy wpływu przekształceń sieci ulicznej na funkcjonowanie transportu indywidualnego miast średnich. Analizy przeprowadzone zostały naprzykładzie miasta teoretycznego o promienisto-obwodnicowym układzie geometrycznym sieci ulicznej. Przedstawiono wyniki symulacji ruchu w sieci ulic z uwzględnieniem różnych form przekształceń systemów transportu miasta średniego.

Diaminophosphinoboranes: effective reagents for phosphinoboration of CO2
PublikacjaThe monomeric diaminophosphinoboranes readily react with CO2 under mild conditions to cleanly form products of the general formula R2P-C(=O)-O-B(NR2)2 in the absence of a catalyst. The isolated products from the CO2-phosphinoboration were fully characterized by NMR spectroscopy, IR spectroscopy, and X-ray diffraction. The mechanism of CO2 phosphinoboration with diaminophosphinoboranes was elucidated by DFT calculations.

PublikacjaA one-pot synthesis for the preparation of N-alkenyl-malonamides and N-alkenyl-thiomalonamides was developed. 5-[Hydroxy/mercapto(aryl/alkylamino)methylene]-2,2-dimethyl-1,3-dioxane-4,6-dione act as a source of ketenes that react with the tautomeric form of alkyl-(2-phenyl-propylidene)-amines. PublikacjaIn this paper, we discuss functional delay fractional equations. A Banach fixed point theorem is applied to obtain the existence (uniqueness) theorem. We also discuss such problems when a delay argument has a form α(t) = αt, 0 < α < 1, by Rusing the method of successive approximations. Some existence results are also formulated in this case. Direct detection of quantum entanglement
PublikacjaBasing on positive maps separability criterion we propose the experimentally viable, direct detection of quantum entanglement. It is efficient and does not require any a priori knowledge about the state. For two qubits it provides a sharp (i.e., “if and only if”) separability test and estimation of amount of entanglement. We view this method as a new form of quantum computation, namely, as a decision problem with quantum data structure.
