Accuracy improvement of short signal frequency estimation with the use of digital filtration

Hybrid SONIC: joint feedforward–feedback narrowband interference canceler
PublikacjaSONIC (self-optimizing narrowband interference canceler) is an acronym of a recently proposed active noise control algorithm with interesting adaptivity and robustness properties. SONIC is a purely feedback controller, capable of rejecting nonstationary sinusoidal disturbances (with time-varying amplitude and/or frequency) in the presence of plant (secondary path) uncertainty. We show that although SONIC can work reliably without...

Novel bio-based thermoplastic poly(ether-urethane)s. Correlations between the structure, processing and properties
PublikacjaThe main purpose of this work was to analyze the effect of the number of unreacted isocyanate groups and the [NCO]/[OH] molar ratio during the chain extension of a prepolymer during the polymerization process on the structure, processing and selected properties of thermoplastic poly(ether-urethane)s. Three series of novel thermoplastic polyurethanes were obtained via a prepolymer route. Three prepolymers were synthesized from diisocyanate...

Temperature-dependent structure-property modeling of viscosity for ionic liquids
PublikacjaIn this paper we present the methodology for assessing the ionic liquids' viscosity at six temperature points (25, 35, 45, 50, 60 and 70 [C]), which utilizes only the in silico approach. The main idea of such assessment is based on the "correction equation" describing the correlation between experimentally measured viscosity and theoretically derived density (calculated with use of molecular mechanics), given at 6 different temperature...

Highly linear CMOS triode transconductor for VHF applications
PublikacjaA high-speed, fully balanced complementary-symmetry metal-oxide-semiconductor (CMOS) triode transconductor is presented. The proposed approach exploits a pseudo-differential-pair triode configuration with a simple adaptive circuit stabilising the drain-to-source voltages of metal-oxide-semiconductor (MOS) transistors. Since no additional active circuits (apart from the resistors made of the cut-off MOS devices) and no feedback...

A simple way of increasing estimation accuracy of generalized adaptive notch filters
PublikacjaGeneralized adaptive notch filters are used for identification/tracking of quasi-periodically varying dynamic systems and can be considered an extension, to the system case, of classical adaptive notch filters. It is shown that frequency biases, which arisein generalized adaptive notch filtering algorithms, can be significantly reduced by incorporating in the adaptive loop an appropriately chosen decision delay. The resulting performance...

Generalized adaptive notch smoothers (GANSs) extend the concepts of adaptive notch filtering in two directions. Firstly, they are designed to estimate coefficients of nonstationary quasi-periodic systems, rather than signals. Secondly, they employ noncausal processing, which greatly improves their accuracy and...
