Kontrola i zapewnienie jakości wyników : klucz do sukcesu analitycznego
Stanowi to siłę napędową do rozwoju analityki chemicznej.Należy jednak pamiętać o najważniejszym warunku, jaki musi być spełniony, aby wyniki uzyskane w trakcie praco- i czasochłonnych badań analitycznych mogły być podstawą do uzyskania wiarygodnych informacji. Tym warunkiem jest odpowiedni poziom...

The role and the place of method validation in the Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) System
Quality Assurance/Quality Control - QA/QC).W...

Struktura kapitału ludzkiego a wzrost gospodarczy

Effect of wet Hydrogen Sulfide on Carbon Steels Degradation in Refinery Based on Case Study
PublicationMaterial degradation caused by wet hydrogen sulfide (Wet H2S) is one of the major issues in refineries. Carbon steel is the main construction material used in refineries and is subjected not only to thickness loss but the hydrogen is the major concern. H2S leads to high atomic hydrogen penetration in steel which causes degradation in the form of blistering and/or cracking (HIC/SOHIC) and stress cracking in the area of welds and...

The influence of drying parameters on wood properties
PublicationThe influence of drying conditions on wood properties is presented. The classical approach was used to determine energetic effects (cutting forces and cutting power) of wood sawing process on the basis of the wood specific cutting resistance, material constant. Before mashining wood material (soft and hard) was dryied at various conditions using air at 25oC, air-steam meaxture at 80oC and steam at 110oC.

Stiffness change of abdominal prosthesis Optomesh™ under cyclic loading
PublicationAbdominal prostheses are used in humans for abdominal wall strengthening or reconstruction. From the mechanical point of view they are membranes, so their basic mechanical property is tensile stiffness. This property is experimentally identified for a selected implant, OptomeshTM. The obtained results are described herein. Uni-axial simple and cyclic tension tests are a basis for the analysis. Both kinds of tests allowed to distinguish...
