Numerical methods for the assessment of bridge safety barriers
PublicationThe paper presents a numerical study of the bus crash test for bridge safety barriers. The analysis is conducted with the use of explicit code LS-DYNA. The problem of hourglass effect in shell elements is discussed. PublicationWe consider the differential–algebraic system for the blood flow and pressure in the systemic arteries.
