Effect of Functionalization of Reduced Graphene Oxide Coatings with Nitrogen and Sulfur Groups on Their Anti-Corrosion Properties
PublicationElectrophoretic production of anticorrosion carbonaceous coatings on copper could be successfully performed by anodic oxidation of negatively charged graphene platelets suspended in an aqueous solution. The various platelets were synthesized by Hummer’s method followed by a hydrothermal reduction in the presence of NH4SCN which was expected to substitute some parts of graphene structure with nitrogen and sulfur groups. X-ray photoelectron...

Oxygen sensitivity of hydrogenesis’ and methanogenesis’
PublicationIn the chapter, results of dark fermentation of sour cabbage in presence of oxygen with concentrations 2-9% are presented. The presence of oxygen in such concentration inhibits methanogesis (and methane production more than 2 times) and increases hydrogen production 6 times. It also shortens the fermentation process above 40%.

Electromodulation of photoluminescence in vacuum-evaporated films of bathocuproine
PublicationElectric field-modulated photoluminescence (EML) was measured in vacuum-evaporated films of bathocuproine (BCP), electron-transporting material commonly used in organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs). The external electric field of 106 V/cm strength decreases long-wavelength photoluminescence (PL) up to 10% but the same effect on short-wavelength PL is above one order of magnitude smaller. The distinctive difference between the...
