Interval incidence coloring of subcubic graphs
PublicationIn this paper we study the problem of interval incidence coloring of subcubic graphs. In [14] the authors proved that the interval incidence 4-coloring problem is polynomially solvable and the interval incidence 5-coloring problem is N P-complete, and they asked if χii(G) ≤ 2∆(G) holds for an arbitrary graph G. Wpływ enzymatycznego przeestryfikowania, prowadzonego w obecności biokatalizatora Novozym 435, na strukturę otrzymanych triacylogliceroli
PublicationPrzeestryfikowano mieszaninę oleju palmowego i rzepakowego (6:4) w obecności katalizatora Novozym 435. Parametrem zmiennym był czas trwania reakcji (1-6 godz.). Stwierdzono, że w zastosowanych warunkach reakcji biokatalizator był niespecyficzny, ponieważ w pozycjach sn-2 produktów reakcji zaobserwowano istotne zmiany składu kwasów tłuszczowych. W miarę wzrostu czasu reakcji biokatalizator wykazywał tendencję do randomizacji.

PublicationSiłą grafu G nazywamy najmniejszą liczbę całkowitą s, taką że istniej pokolorowanie grafu G, o minimalnej sumie przy użyciu kolorów {1,...,s}. W pracy pokazano, że w grafach dwudzielnych stopnia D zachodzi oszacowanie s <= ceil(D/2) + 1. Z obserwacji tej wynika algorytm wielomianowy do obliczania siły i sumy chromatycznej w grafach dwudzielnych stopnia co najwyżej 4.

Thermal analysis of copper(II) complexes of general formula [Et4N]2[CuBrnCl4-n]
PublicationBadano dekompozycję termiczną związków składających sie z anionów: [CuBrnCl4-n]2- (n=0-4) i kationów tetrametyloamoniowych. Stosowano następujące metody badawcze: TG-FTIR, TG-MS, DTA i DTG. Pomiary przeprowadzono w atmosferze argonu i powietrza w zakresie temperatur od 293 K do 1073 K. Produkty dekompozycji identyfikowano metoda spektroskopii w podczerwieni (IR i FIR) oraz metodą dyfrakcji promieniowania rentgenowskiego.

Reaction of methanol ligated manganese(II) silanethiolate with pyridine related ligands - different structures of complexes with MnNO2S2 kernel
PublicationReakcja silanotiolanu manganu(II) z pirydyną i jej metylowymi pochodnymi prowadzi do uzyskania heteroleptycznych kompleksów o tym samym rdzeniu MnNO2S2, ale o różnym typie strukturalnym. W przypadku posłużenia się pirydyną i 2-metylopirydyną uzyskano układy zawierające dwie cząsteczki alkoholu przykoordynowane do centrum metalicznego. Z kolei w przypadku 3- i 4-metylopirydyny funkcję S,O-donorów spełniają reszty silanotiolanowe.

Zakres przeprowadzonych badań i analiz obejmował: (1) Spektroskopię w podczerwieni z transformacją Fouriera (FTIR), (2) Różnicową Kalorymetrię Skaningową (DSC), (3) Analizę Termograwimetryczną (TGA), (4) Masowy i Objętościowy Wskaźnik Szybkości Płynięcia (MFR i MVR), (5) Twardość metodą Shore’a D oraz (6) wizytę w zakładzie produkcyjnym i analizę procesów montażowych.

New lanthanide–CB[6] coordination compounds: relationships between the crystal structure and luminescent properties
PublicationThe reaction between cucurbit[6]uril (CB[6]) and lanthanide chlorides (Eu, Sm, Tb and Tm) in acidic aqueous media led to four new structures. The compounds obtained are isostructural with general formula [Ln2(H2O)12(H2O@CB[6])]Cl6(H2O)4 (Ln = Eu3+ (1), Sm3+ (2), Tb3+ (3) and Tm3+ (4)) and crystallize in the P21/c space group.
