Cost-efficient multi-objective design optimization of antennas in highly-dimensional parameter spaces

For expedited design, variable-fidelity EM simulations and domain patching algorithm are utilized. The results obtained for a monopole antenna with 13 geometry parameters are compared with surrogate-assisted optimization involving response surface approximation modeling.

The essence of the proposed method is the use of elementary shape function of finite element. Local variance factors in deformation analysis of non-homogenous monitoring networks
PublicationThis paper proposes a modification of the classical deformation analysis algorithm for non-homogeneous (e.g. linear-angular) monitoring networks. The basis for the proposed solution is the idea of local variance factors. The theoretical discussion was complemented with an example of its application on a simulated horizontal monitoring network.
