PublicationTo study the biochemical properties of SSB from Psychrobacter arcticus (ParSSB), we have cloned the ssb genes obtained by PCR and have developed Escherichia coli overexpression systems. The gene consists of an open reading frame of 642 nucleotides encoding SSB protein of 213 amino acids with a calculated molecular mass of 22.8 kDa. Uwalnianie potasu przez bakterie osadu czynnego jako reakcja na stosowanie kwasu nadoctowego
PublicationBadanie efektu wypływu potasu (GGKE - glutathione-gated potassium efflux) z komórek bakterii osadu czynnego pod wpływem dawkowania kwasu nadoctowego (CH3CO3H). Wzrost stężenia jonów potasu w środowisku osadu czynnego był uzależniony od wielkości dawek kwasu nadoctowego. Maksymalne przyrosty stężeń K+ dla wszystkich zastosowanych dawek kwasu nadoctowego obserwowano po 15-20 minutach reakcji.
