ALLYING SYSTEM THINKING AND SET OF EXPERIENCE KNOWLEDGE STRUCTURE
PublicationThe approach of system thinking is completely different from traditional forms of analysis. Even the ancient meaning of word analysis is “a breaking up”. Set of Experience Knowledge Structure is an atomic record of decision event that can be grouped together and form some form of decision DNA of an organization. The question that this paper is trying to answer in how those concepts can be merged.

Computational fluid dynamics - lustres and shadows.
PublicationThe paper is devoted to the different aspects of CFD. The advantages of this concept are evident and obvious; powerfuk and effective tools bring this technology closer to the quantifiable world. However, certain weaknesses in this structure are apparent. Sometimes, a simplistic tendency towards simplifications and facilitations may degenerate and lead to negative behaviours and signs. These have not been serious up to date, but...

Gas selectivity enhancement by sampling-and-hold method in resistive gas sensors
PublicationCommercial resistive gas sensors exhibit various sensitivity to numerous gases when working at different elevated temperatures. That effect is due to a change in velocity of adsorption and desorption processes which can be modulated by temperature. Hybrid Model of Axially Moving Continua
PublicationThe paper introduces the method of the model reduction of systems that experience a Coriolis acceleration component. It causes that system equations are non-self-adjoined. Hence, the final reduced model is a hybrid one, obtained by both lumping and modal methods...

Deterministic rendezvous of asynchronous bounded-memory agents in polygonal terrains
PublicationWe consider two versions of the rendezvous problem: exact RV, when the points representing agents have to coincide at some time, and e-RV, when these points have to get at distance less than e in the terrain. In any terrain, each agent chooses its trajectory, but the movements of the agent on this trajectory are controlled by an adversary that may, e.g. speed up or slow down the agent.
