A nine-input 1.25 mW, 34 ns CMOS analog median filter for image processing in real time
PublicationIn this paper an analog voltage-mode median filter, which operates on a 3 × 3 kernel is presented. The filter is implemented in a 0.35 μm CMOS technology. The proposed solution is based on voltage comparators and a bubble sort configuration. As a result, a fast (34 ns) time response with low power consumption (1.25 mW for 3.3 V) is achieved. The key advantage of the configuration is relatively high accuracy of signal processing,...

Udokładnianie pomiaru częstotliwości krótkich obserwacji sinusoidy przy użyciu filtracji cyfrowej
PublicationW pracy pogłębiono i przebadano koncepcję metody pomiaru częstotliwości krótkiego fragmentu zaszumionego sygnału sinusoidalnego wykorzystującą filtrację cyfrową do zwiększania dokładności pomiaru. Podstawowy pomiar realizowany jest z użyciem transformaty DFT. Pomiar ten w przypadku krótkich sygnałów nie oferuje jednak wystarczającej dokładności. Dlatego w omawianej metodzie wprowadzono dodatkowy etap udokładniania częstotliwości....

Resistant to correlated noise and outliers discrete identification of continuous non-linear non-stationary dynamic objects
PublicationIn this article, specific methods of parameter estimation were used to identify the coefficients of continuous models represented by linear and nonlinear differential equations. The necessary discrete-time approximation of the base model is achieved by appropriately tuned FIR linear integral filters. The resulting discrete descriptions, which retain the original continuous parameterization, can then be identified using the classical...

The necessary discrete-time approximation of the base model is achieved by appropriately tuned FIR linear integral filters. The resulting discrete descriptions, which retain the original continuous parameterization, can then be identified using the classical...

Pulsed UV-irradiated Graphene Sensors for Ethanol Detection at Room Temperature
PublicationA graphene-based gas sensor fabricated in a FET (GFET) configuration and its sensitivity towards ethanol and methane is reported. Detection of ethanol at the level of 100 ppm was observed under pulsed UV irradiation and after cleaning by UV light in the N2 ambient. Reduction of the frequency of UV irradiation pulses resulted in increased changes in sensor resistance in the presence of ethanol. Improved sensing behavior was ascribed...
