Multimodal Attention Stimulator
PublikacjaMultimodal attention stimulator was proposed and tested for improving auditory and visual attention, including pupils with developmental dyslexia. Results of the conducted experiments shown that the designed stimulator can be used in order to improve comprehension during reading tasks. Numerical methods for the assessment of bridge safety barriers
PublikacjaThe paper presents a numerical study of the bus crash test for bridge safety barriers. The analysis is conducted with the use of explicit code LS-DYNA. The problem of hourglass effect in shell elements is discussed. The simulations of bus impact against the barrier show that the analyzed barrier withstands the impact forces and restrains the bus trajectory to the bridge road.

A Study on Influence of Normalization Methods on Music Genre Classification Results Employing kNN Algorithms
PublikacjaThis paper presents a comparison of different normalization methods applied to the set of feature vectors of music pieces. The effectivness of fault detection in common rail injectors examination methods
PublikacjaThe article presents the effectiveness tests of fault detection in common rail injectors. 40 injectors with different wear levels were tested. Testing was made on two test benches of a completely different design. Research includes comparison of accuracy, reproducibility and testability to detect specific defects. PublikacjaZaprezentowano wyniki pomiarów szumów m. cz. diod transoptorów oraz wyniki badań stacjonarności tych przebiegów. Test stacjonarności został zastosowany do parametrów statystycznych przebiegów szumowych takich jak wartość średnia, wariancja, skośność oraz kurtoza. Stwierdzono, że niemal wszystkie przebiegi szumowe diod transoptorów były stacjonarne.

Assessment of hydrogenation of deposited metal of P 62 MR covered electrodes
PublikacjaThe determination of diffusible hydrogen content in deposited metal of P 62 MR covered electrodes for manual metal arc welding by mercury method was carried out. The test results indicate that covered electrodes 62 P MR grade generate a mean of 4.02 ml/100g of diffusible hydrogen in deposited metal, which is consistent with H5 class.
