N-Alkyl Derivatives of L-Glutamine As Inhibitors of Glutamine - Utilizing Enzymes
PublikacjaA general facile method to synthesize the N-gamma-alkyl and N-gamma,N-gamma-dialkyl derivatives of L-glutamine (1a-d) from L-glutamic acid as a starting substrate is presented. The obtained compounds are shown to inhibit three diferent glutamine-utilizing enzymes, namely: glutaminase, gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase, and glucosamine-6-phosphate synthase, with inhibitory constants within the milimolar range.

Assessment of crack resistance of S355J2+N steel according to SEP 1390 standard
PublikacjaThe aim of the study was to evaluate the weldability of S355J2+N steel by bending test according to SEP 1390. In the specimen from S355J2+N steel 3 external cracks were found, 1 of which were stopped in the fusion line and 2 in heat affected zone. Results of bending test for investigated grade of steel are positive.

PublikacjaOpracowano syntezę kilku peptydów (di i tripeptydów) zawierających inhibitory syntazy glukozamino-6-fosforanu oraz przeprowadzono je w N-acylopochodne (acetylowe, heksanoilowe, dekanoilowe) oraz zbadano ich aktywność przeciwgrzybową w stosunku do szczepów Candida albicans z opornością wielolekową. Apparent molar volumes of divalent transition metal perchlorates and chlorides in N,N-dimethylacetamide.
PublikacjaZmierzono gęstości roztworów nadchloranów i chlorków manganu(II), kobaltu(II), niklu(II), miedzi(II) i cynku(II) w temperaturach 10, 20,25, 30, 40, 50 i 60(o)C. Obliczono pozorne objętości molowe. Wyznaczono graniczne wartości cząstkowych molowych objętości tych soli oraz odpowiednie rozszerzalności.
