Cyclic voltammetry curves of the V2O5 nanocrystals (Li-ion batteries)
Dane BadawczeThe DataSet contains the next thirty cycles voltammetry curves for the V2O5 nanocrystals obtained by the sol-gel method. The cyclic voltammetry was measured using the AUTOLAB 302N potentiostat-galvanostat. The measurements were carried out in a voltage range of 2 V to 4 V vs. Li/Li+ at a scan rate of 1 mV/s. The results show that in the subsequent cycles,...

On zero-error codes produced by greedy algorithms
PublikacjaWe present two greedy algorithms that determine zero-error codes and lower bounds on the zero-error capacity. These algorithms have many advantages, e.g., they do not store a whole product graph in a computer memory and they use the so-called distributions in all dimensions to get better approximations of the zero-error capacity. We also show an additional application of our algorithms.

Changes on the Surface of the SiO2/C Composite, Leading to the Formation of Conductive Carbon Structures with Complex Nature of DC Conductivity
PublikacjaSol–gel layers have been the subject of many studies in recent decades. However, very little information exists about layers in which carbon structures are developed in situ. Using the spin-coating method, we obtained thin iron-doped SiO2/C composite films. The results of Raman spectroscopy showed that our samples consisted of graphitic forms and polymers. The latter’s contribution decreases with rising temperature. FTIR and EDS...

Quality increase for single-welded joints of thin-walled structures by means of simulation modelling
PublikacjaThe Simulation calculation module and the SolidWorks software package have helped to define the optimal shape and dimensions of single-welded joints which may serve the basis for calculating the process parameters of welding. Having compared the models with different weld cross-sections the authors have defined that the weld height and width do not significantly affect the stress concentration, and the stress concentration and...

The Cultures of Knowledge Organizations: Knowledge, Learning, Collaboration (KLC)
PublikacjaThis book focuses on seeing, understanding, and learning to shape an organization’s essential cultures. The book is grounded on a fundamental assumption that every organization has a de facto culture. These “de facto cultures” appear at first glance to be serendipitous, vague, invisible, and unmanaged. An invisible and unrecognized de facto culture can undermine business goals and strategies and lead to business failures. The authors...

Green Polymer Nanocomposites for Skin Tissue Engineering
PublikacjaFabrication of an appropriate skin scaffold needs to meet several standards related to the mechanical and biological properties. Fully natural/green scaffolds with acceptable biodegradability, biocompatibility, and physiological properties quite often suffer from poor mechanical properties.
