Research, theories and practical experience of therapeutic landscapes as a tool for urban open space design
PublikacjaThis paper reviews the research on therapeutic landscapes and discusses the design of urban parks and open green space. Firstly, the most relevant research on therapeutic landscapes is reviewed. Secondly, the practical experience of healing and therapeutic gardens is discussed. Model of pressure distribution in vortex flow controls
PublikacjaThe paper is devoted to the vortex valve. Existing devices are described by CFD-methods, or by means of simple empirical relations. A rational method of the considered object design is proposed, on the base of the input and dissipation energy balance., what gives a simple algebraic equation. Conformity between calcul;ated and measured parameters of the vortex valve allows for acceptation of the proposed concept.

PublikacjaThe paper introduces the method of modal reduction of system which consists of pipe with flowing liquid. The concept of hybrid model is proposed. The system model consists of two parts, the modal model and the finite elements model.
