Topology improvements in scale-free networks when assuring security and survivability

Spectrum Sensing Based on Hybrid Spectrum Handoff in Cognitive Radio Networks
PublikacjaThe rapid advancement of wireless communication combined with insufficient spectrum exploitation opens the door for the expansion of novel wireless services. Cognitive radio network (CRN) technology makes it possible to periodically access the open spectrum bands, which in turn improves the effectiveness of CRNs. Spectrum sensing (SS), which allows unauthorized users to locate open spectrum bands, plays a fundamental part in CRNs....

Development of thin film SPME sorbents based on deep eutectic solvents and their application for isolation and preconcentration of endocrine-disrupting compounds leaching from diapers to urine
PublikacjaIn this study, the thin film solid phase microextraction (TF-SPME) based on a novel sorbent composed of deep eutectic solvent (DES) is proposed. Among several synthesized sorbents the most efficient was DES containing trihexyl(tetradecyl)phosphonium chloride and docosanol mixed with polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) in a molar ratio 1:3:0.25 to achieve a more stable structure. The proposed sorbent was applied on a fiberglass mesh and...

Investigation of vortex assisted magnetic deep eutectic solvent based dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction for separation and determination of vanadium from water and food matrices: Multivariate analysis
PublikacjaA new and simple vortex assisted magnetic deep eutectic solvent dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction procedure (VA-MDES-DLLME) was developed for the determination of vanadium (V) in food and water samples by flame atomic absorption spectrometry (FAAS). In the extraction medium, a bis(acetylpivalylmethane) ethylenediimine (H2APM2en) was used for the complexation of V(V) in sample solution at pH 6. The VA-MDES-DLLME was optimized...

Orientation-aware ship detection via a rotation feature decoupling supported deep learning approach
PublikacjaShip imaging position plays an important role in visual navigation, and thus significant focuses have been paid to accurately extract ship imaging positions in maritime videos. Previous studies are mainly conducted in the horizontal ship detection manner from maritime image sequences. This can lead to unsatisfied ship detection performance due to that some background pixels maybe wrongly identified as ship contours. To address...

A novel class-based protection algorithm providing fast service recovery in IP/WDM networks

Efficient handover scheme for Mobile IPv4 over IEEE 802.11 networks with IEEE 802.21 triggers.

Set membership estimation of parameters and variables in dynamic networks by recursive algorithms with moving measurment window
PublikacjaW artykule rozważana jest łączna estymacja przedziałowa zmiennych i parametrów w złożonej sieci dynamicznej w oparciu niepewne modele parametryczne i ograniczoną liczbę pomiarów. Opracowany został rekursywny algorytm estymacji z przesuwnym oknem pomiarowym, odpowiedni dla monitorowania sieci on-line. Okno pomiarowe pozwala na stabilizowanie klasycznego algorytmu rekurencyjnego estymacji i znacznie poprawienie obcisłości estymat....
