PublikacjaAuthor proposes scalable architecture of the measurement system for gas sensor with impedance dependance of the gas concentration. The main part of the system is a single-board impedance analyser. The number of analysers working in parallel can be configured according to specific application. The system is controlled by a single computer which organises the measurement cycle and store the acquired measurement data. The system is...

VOCs absorption from gas streams using deep eutectic solvents – A review
PublikacjaVolatile organic compounds (VOCs) are one of the most severe atmospheric pollutants. They are mainly emitted into the atmosphere from anthropogenic sources such as automobile exhaust, incomplete fuel combustion, and various industrial processes. VOCs not only cause hazards to human health or the environment but also adversely affect industrial installation components due to their specific properties, i.e., corrosive and reactivity....

Noise related to gas bottles explosions
PublikacjaModern industrialized world is in a never ending danger of accidents and catastrophes of technical nature. Some of them may involve fires and explosions of gas storage bottles or containers. Technical University of Gdansk, Poland performed numerous tests where bottles containing acetylene, oxygen, hydrogen, CO2, LPG, LNG or CNG were blown due to excessive temperature caused by fire. Although those experiments were not focused on...

Dynamic polarizability of the relativistic hydrogenlike atom: Application of the Sturmian expansion of the Dirac-Coulomb Green function
PublikacjaWe utilize the Sturmian expansion of the Dirac-Coulomb Green function [R. Szmytkowski, J. Phys. B 30, 825 (1997)] to obtain components of the dynamic dipole polarizability tensor of the relativistic hydrogenlike atom in the ground state. It is found that the tensor may be expressed in terms of two independent quantities: a scalar polarizability and a vector polarizability, the latter being of the relativistic origin. In the static...

Preparation and evaluation of 1,3-alternate 25,27-bis-(pentafluorobenzyloxy)-26,28-bis-(3-propyloxy)-calix[4]arene-bonded silics gel high performance liquid chromatography stationary phase
PublikacjaA 1,3-alternate 25,27-bis-(pentafluorobenzyloxy)-26,28-bis-(3-propyloxy)-calix[4]arene-bonded silica gel stationary phase (CalixBzF10) was synthesized, structurally characterized, and used as a selector in liquid chromatography. The selectivity study of this phase was done by using fluorine-containing compounds (fluorobenzenes, fluoro-pyrimidine bases), as well as non-fluorinated analytes (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs,...
