Buckling of braced frames
PublikacjaIn this paper the classical Winter model, developed originally for columns is applied for frame structures and compared with the results of parametric study of frame with bracing. Sensitivity analysis of critical loads of frame due to bracing stiffness is carried out and the threshold bracing stiffness for full bracing is found. On Non-holonomic Boundary Conditions within the Nonlinear Cosserat Continuum
PublikacjaWithin the framework of the nonlinear micropolar elastic continuum we discuss non-holonomic kinematic boundary conditions. By non-holonomic boundary conditions we mean linear relations between virtual displacements and virtual rotations given on the boundary. Such boundary conditions can be used for modelling of complex material interactions in the vicinity of the boundaries and interfaces.

PublikacjaUsing the iterative method, this paper investigates the existence of a unique solution to systems of nonlinear fractional differential equations, which involve the right-handed Riemann-Liouville fractional derivatives D(T)(q)x and D(T)(q)y. PublikacjaThe paper introduces the method of modal reduction of system which consists of pipe with flowing liquid. The concept of hybrid model is proposed. The system model consists of two parts, the modal model and the finite elements model. PublikacjaThe new silicon–sulfur compound: disiloxane-1,3-dithiol was obtained from silicon disulfide and 2,6-diisopropylphenol in a reaction catalyzed by imidazole or 4-(dimethylamino)pyridine (DMAP). Crystal structure of disiloxane–1,3-dithiol reveals a close-to-linear Si–O–Si angle and a mutual trans position of the two hydrosulfido groups.
