Power Electronic Transformer For Smart Grid Application
PublikacjaIn this paper the control system of Power Electronic Transformer (PET) for the Smart Grid application is proposed. The structure of PET is based on two Cascaded H-bridge (CHB) converters. The electrical energy is transferred between converters using Dual-Active-Bridges (DAB) and high-frequency transformers. This type of coupling has been used to connect the DC-links of all H-bridges. The proposed control system for PET makes it...

Pyrrole bearing diazocrowns: Selective chromoionophores for lead(II) optical sensing
PublikacjaDiazocrowns of 18-, 21- and 23-membered rings with pyrrole residue as a part of macrocycle were for the first time used as chromoionophores in lead(II) selective optodes. Sensing properties of optodes depend on the type of macrocycle, namely its size and the type of linker: oligoether or hydrocarbon chain. The best results were obtained for optode bearing 18-membered crown with oligoether linker showing linear response range of...

A space-efficient algorithm for computing the minimum cycle mean in a directed graph
PublikacjaAn algorithm is introduced for computing the minimum cycle mean in a strongly connected directed graph with n vertices and m arcs that requires O(n) working space. This is a considerable improvement for sparse graphs in comparison to the classical algorithms that require O(n^2) working space. The time complexity of the algorithm is still O(nm). An implementation in C++ is made publicly available at http://www.pawelpilarczyk.com/cymealg/.
