Podano wystarczające warunki, dla których problemy dotyczące takich równań mają dodatnie rozwiązania. W pracy rozważa się przypadki kiedy argumenty odchylone są typu opóźnionego lub wyprzedzonego. W celu zapewnienia istnienia przynajmniej trzech dodatnich rozwiązań wykorzystano twierdzenie Avery-Petersona.

Gęste i nanokrystaliczne filmy przygotowane zostały z użyciem prekursorów polimerowych na szafirze. Konduktancja elektryczna była badana w funkcji temperatury syntezy, która jest skorelowana z wielkością ziaren. Otrzymano mniejszą konduktancję nanokrystalicznego filmu ceru w porównaniu z próbkami ceramicznymi.
