Portable raman spectrometer with two excitation wavelengths
PublicationSelected problems of development of a portable Raman spectrometer having small size, reduced power consumption and robust construction are shown. The device dedicated for semiskilled personnel uses two lasers: 785nm and 355nm. Results of preliminary tests are presented. Also data processing procedures as well as problems referred to Raman signals acquisition through packages and influence of interfering signals are discussed.

Dual polarization antennas for UHF RFID readers
PublicationThis paper presents various concepts of switching polarization in patch antenna dedicated for UHF RFID readers. Proposed designs allow for switching between linear and circular polarization. The first design does not require electronic switching as the polarization can be changed by choosing one of two available feeding terminals. Two remaining designs use PIN diode or FET SPDT switch.

PublicationIn the paper a new concept of measurement system based on the Z-Wave standard is presented. This standard is dedicated to use mainly in home automation systems, but its properties enable to use it in dispersed measurement systems and support wireless communication between measurement nodes in a mesh-type network.
