PublicationW pracy przedstawiono rozwiązanie zagadnienia odwrotnej transformacji przepływów z zastosowaniem uproszczonych modeli. Zastosowano model fali kinematycznej oraz równanie retencji. W pierwszym przypadku równanie całkowano w kierunku malejącego czasu zaś w drugim w kierunku przeciwnym do przepływu. Wykazano, że obydwa podejścia są równoważne.
