Algorytm łączy w sobie metodę różnic skończonych i rozwinięć funkcyjnych , umożliwiając implementację warunków brzegowych symulujących otwartą przestrzeń. Rozważania dotyczą całkowania po czasie dynamicznych równań ruchu sformułowanych w ramach nieliniowej sześcioparametrowej teorii powłok. Opracowanie zawiera pewne elementy analizy statycznej, poprzedzającej badania dynamiczne. Przykłady numeryczne prezentują zastosowanie algorytmu stanowią podstawową część pracy.

PublikacjaPrzedstawiono jeden jawny i trzy niejawne schematy metody objętości skończonych. Porównano własności tych schematów oraz oceniono możliwości ich stosowania do modelowania gwałtownych przepływów w kanałach otwartych. Zaproponowano modyfikację schematu niejawnego. Poprawiony schemat może być stosowany do obliczeń przepływu szybkozmiennego w kanałach otwartych i w sieciach kanalizacyjnych.
