Numerical simulations of space-time conditional random fields of ground motions
PublikacjaArtykuł przedstawia metodę modelowania stochastycznego efektu propagacji fali sejsmicznej z wykorzystaniem przestrzenno-czasowej funkcji korelacji pola losowego trzęsienia ziemi. Metodę wykorzystano do generacji nieznanych historii czasowych trzęsienia w wybranych punktach na podstawie znanego rejestru w jednym miejscu. Wyniki pokazały, iż zastosowanie zaproponowanej metody prowadzi do relatywnie małych błędów symulacji.

RMS-based damage detection in reinforced concrete beams: numerical simulations
PublikacjaImage-based damage detection methods using guided waves are well known and widely applied approaches in structural diagnostics. They are usually utilized in detection of surface damages or defects of plate-like structures. The article presents results of the study of applicability of imaging wave-based methods in detection in miniscule internal damage in the form of debonding. The investigations were carried out on numerical models...

Accelerated Monte Carlo method for computation of photon migration by matrix description of photon direction

A coupled constitutive model for fracture in plain concrete based on continuum theory with non-local softening and eXtended Finite Element Method
PublikacjaThe paper presents a constitutive model for concrete which combines a continuous and discontinuous fracture description. In a continuum regime, two different constitutive laws were used. First, a plasticity model with a Rankine failure criterion and an associated fl ow rule was used. Second, a constitutive law based on isotropic damage mechanics was formulated. In order to capture the width of a localized zone and to obtain mesh-independent...

Maximum transportation growth in energy and solute particles in Prandtl martial across a vertical 3D-heated surface: Simulations achieved using by finite element approach
PublikacjaThe goal of this study is to determine the maximum energy and solute particles' transportation growth in a 3D-heated region of Prandtl martial through a dynamic magnetic field. The effects of this field on the properties of solvent molecules and heat conduction are studied. A correctly stated functional method and a finite element approach are comparable to a certain type of differential equations. In order demonstrate the effects...

Approximate analytical boundary conditions for efficient finite difference frequency domain simulations in cylindrical coordinates
PublikacjaW artykule zaprezentowano prostą technikę analizy rezonatora otwartego. Algorytm łączy w sobie metodę różnic skończonych i rozwinięć funkcyjnych , umożliwiając implementację warunków brzegowych symulujących otwartą przestrzeń. Metoda testowana była w analizie rezonatorów o różnych wymiarach,a otrzymane wyniki dobrze zgadzały się z rezultatami innych metod.
