Wavelet filtering of signals without using model functions
PublikacjaThe effective wavelet filtering of real signals is impossible without determining their shape. The shape of a real signal is related to its wavelet spectrum. A real signal with additive noise strongly distorts the spectrogram based on continuous...

Dane BadawczeFor K4 graph, a coloring type (K4,K4;n) is such an edge coloring of the full Kn graph, which does not have the K4 subgraph in the first color (representing by no edges in the graph) or the K4 subgraph in the second color (representing by edges in the graph). The Ramsey number R(4,4) is the smallest natural number n such that for any edge coloring of...

Estimation of DC motor parameters using a simple CMOS camera
PublikacjaDifferent components of control systems for mobile robots are based on dynamic models. In low-cost solutions such a robot is wheeled and equipped with DC motors, which have to be included in the model of the robot. The model is fairly simple but determination of its parameters needs not to be easy. For instance, DC motor parameters are typically identified indirectly using suitable measurements, concerning engine voltage, current,...

DIAMENTY JAKO PRZYKŁAD INWESTYCJI ALTERNATYWNEJ
PublikacjaW artykule scharakteryzowano determinanty decydujące o powodzeniu inwestycji w diamenty. Cel artykułu to zbadanie, jak masa, czystość, szlif, kolor, jednostka certyfikująca i kształt wpływają na cenę diamentu. Aby określić wpływ tych cech na cenę diamentu, zbudowano pięć modeli ekonometrycznych. Dla realizacji postawionego celu badawczego wykorzystano charakterystyki dla ponad 265 tysięcy diamentów. W wyniku przeprowadzonej analizy...

Wpływ automatycznej kalibracji wizyjnego systemu pozycjonowania na dokładność lokalizacji elementu roboczego
PublikacjaW artykule przedstawiono strukturę i działanie automatycznego wizyjnego systemu pozycjonowania (PVS), który został zainstalowany na maszynie waterjet (WJ). Ponadto przeprowadzono analizę wpływu kalibracji na działanie PVS. Podstawę systemu stanowią dwie kamery internetowe zamontowane na przemysłowej maszynie WJ. W połączeniu z algorytmem identyfikacji, system przeznaczony jest do pozycjonowania WJ z dużą dokładnością. W tym celu...

Dataset of non-isomorphic graphs being coloring types (K5-e,Km-e;n), 2<m<5, 1<n<R(K5-e,Km-e)
Dane BadawczeFor K5-e and Km-e graphs, the type coloring (K5-e,Km-e;n) is such an edge coloring of the full Kn graph, which does not have the K5-e subgraph in the first color (no edge in the graph) or the Km-e subgraph in the second color (exists edge in the graph). Closer Look at the Uncertainty Estimation in Semantic Segmentation under Distributional Shift
PublikacjaWhile recent computer vision algorithms achieve impressive performance on many benchmarks, they lack robustness - presented with an image from a different distribution, (e.g. weather or lighting conditions not considered during training), they may produce an erroneous prediction. Therefore, it is desired that such a model will be able to reliably predict its confidence measure. In this work, uncertainty estimation for the task...
