Tight bounds on the complexity of semi-equitable coloring of cubic and subcubic graphs
PublikacjaWe consider the complexity of semi-equitable k-coloring, k>3, of the vertices of a cubic or subcubic graph G. In particular, we show that, given a n-vertex subcubic graph G, it is NP-complete to obtain a semi-equitable k-coloring of G whose non-equitable color class is of size s if s>n/3, and it is polynomially solvable if s, n/3.

A Novel Speed Observer for Doubly-Fed Induction Generator
PublikacjaThe purpose of this paper is to show a new state observer for doubly-fed generator. A proposed z-type observer algorithm based on mathematical model of doubly fed generator with additional variables treated as a disturbances has been used. A nonlinear multiscalar control method has been used to control active and reactive power of the generator. All analyses were verified by simulations and experiments tests.

PublikacjaThe acoustic data was collected in 2018–2019 in the Bay of Puck in the seasons: autumn, winter, spring. The data was collected during the day and night using three split-beam echosounders with frequencies of 38 kHz, 120 kHz and 333 kHz at a designated study area not far from the city of Hel, while the ship was sailing. The Palais–Smale condition for the Hamiltonian action on a mixed regularity space of loops in cotangent bundles and applications
PublikacjaWe show that the Hamiltonian action satisfies the Palais-Smale condition over a “mixed regular- ity” space of loops in cotangent bundles, namely the space of loops with regularity H^s, s ∈ (1/2, 1), in the baseand H^{1−s} in the fiber direction. As an application, we give a simplified proof of a theorem of Hofer-Viterbo on the existence of closed characteristic leaves for certain contact type hypersufaces in cotangent bundles.
