PublicationW artykule pokazano wyniki dyskretne zachowania się ziaren materiałów granulowanych w strefie ścinania uzyskane metodą DEM. Wyniki porównano z wynikami MES na bazie mikropolarnego hipoplastycznego prawa konstytutywnego. Szczególną uwagę zwrócono w obliczeniach na zjawiska mikrostrukturalne w strefie ścinania takie jak: wiry, łańcuchy sił, lokalne zmiany porowatości.
