Selection of drive engines for dredge pumps
PublicationThis paper presents the principles of selecting drive engines for dredge pumps, formulated by this author. In order to formulate them influence of drive engines on dredge pump characteristics and dredger effectiveness, have been analyzed. Also, an analysis of results of the author's operational investigations concerning energy consumption and parameters of excavated soil transport on board dredgers has been performed.

Selective jamming of OFDM transmission in NB-IoT radio interface
PublicationThe paper presents the concept of smart jamming, which involves selective interference aimed at critical components of the OFDM signal. Research verifying the feasibility of this type of electronic attack are described. A realized testbed for jamming real NB-IoT signals in a downlink is presented. The test results demonstrate the feasibility of realizing selective jamming and its greater effectiveness compared to barrage interference.

Extraction of antenna pattern from near field antenna measurements distorted by undesired emission
PublicationIn this paper authors present experimental correction of antenna pattern obtained from near field measurements when they are distorted by determined electromagnetic emission. Such situation may be met e.g. when feeding or supply subsystem interacts with antenna radiation pattern due to self-emission. Presented results of experiments show effectiveness of extraction of antenna pattern utilizing near field antenna measurements.
