NON-LOCAL VOLUMETRIC APPROACH TO ANALYSIS DEFECT'S SHAPE INFLUENCE ON SPECIMENS DURABILITY SUBJECTED TO BENDING AND TORSION
PublikacjaThe influence of defect features on fatigue behaviour is a complex trivial issue. Although the important advances over the last decades, the dialectical relationship between the defect orientation and durability is not clearly understood. The paper aims at studying the influence of the orientation of elliptical defects on the durability of samples made of C45 steel. Three types of samples with elliptical defects were subjected...

Ingoing and outgoing waves in the non-relativistic theory of photoionization
PublikacjaZastosowano rachunek zaburzeń zależny od czasu do wyprowadzenia wzoru na różniczkowy przekrój czynny na fotojonizację nierelatywistycznego kwantowego układu jednoelektronowego płaską monochromatyczną falą elektromagnetyczną. Pokazano,że pochodzenie oraz asymptotykę tzw. ''funkcji falowej stanu końcowego'', wchodzącej do tego wzoru, można wytłumaczyć bez odwoływania się do kontrowersyjnej argumentacji podanej przez Breita i Bethego.

Non-relativistic quantum scattering from non-local separable potentials: the eignchannel approach
PublikacjaOstatnio sformułowana wersja metody kanałów własnych [R. Szmytkowski, Ann. Phys. (N.Y.) 311, 503 (2004)] została zastosowana do kwantowego rozpraszania cząstek Schroedingera na nielokalnych potencjałach separowalnych. Wektory kanałów własnych oraz ujemne kotangensy przesunięć fazowych zostały wprowadzone jako rozwiązania własne pewnego uogólnionego macierzowego zagadnienia na wartości własne, bez konieczności uprzedniej konstrukcji...

Mixed 4-node shell element with assumed strain and stress in 6-parameter theory
PublikacjaWe propose a mixed hybrid 4-node shell elements based on Hu-Washizu principle. Apart from displacements both strains and stress fields are treated as independent fields. The element is derived in the framework of a general nonlinear 6-field shell theory with drilling rotation which is dedicated to the analysis of multifold irregular shells with intersections. The novelty of the presented results stems from the fact that the measures...

On shear correction factors in the non-linear theory of elastic shells

Modelling of concrete behaviour with a non-local continuum damage approach
PublikacjaW artykule przedstawiono wyniki numerycznej dla różnych problemów brzegowych związanych z powstawaniem rys w betonie. Obliczenia wykonano przy zastosowaniu modelu zniszczeniowego (z uwzględnieniem degradacji sztywności). Do opisu rys, model rozszerzono o nielokalność.

A Non-local elasto-plastic model to describe localisations of deformation in concrete

Non-linear strain rate analysis of earthquake-induced pounding between steel buildings
PublikacjaPast and recent earthquakes have shown that ground motions may cause severe structural damage to civil engineering structures. Earthquake-induced pounding between adjacent buildings has been identified as one of the reasons which intensifies damages. The aim of this paper is to show the results of the detailed nonlinear FEM analysis of earthquake-induced pounding between two steel buildings. The elastic – perfectly plastic material...

Modelling of size effects in concrete using elasto-plascity with non-local softening
PublikacjaArtykuł przedstawia numeryczne symulacje MES efektów skali w materiałach kruchych takich jak beton , wykonane w warunkach płaskiego stanu odkształceń. Materiał był modelowany w ramach sprężysto-plastyczności z izotropowym wzmocnieniem i osłabieniem. W obszarze ściskania przyjęto liniowe kryterium Druckera-Pragera z niestowarzyszonym prawem płynięcia a w obszarze rozciągania liniowe kryterium Rankina ze stowarzyszonym prawem płynięcia....

Zachowanie suchego piasku podczas testów ściskania w płaskim stanie odkształcenia było analizowane z zastosowaniem metody elementów skończonych i nielokalnego hipoplastycznego prawa konstytutywnego. Podczas obliczeń numerycznych zwrócono szczególną uwagę na wpływ długości charakterystycznej na nośność i szerokość...

Weakly non-local theories of damage and plasticity based on balance of dissipative material forces
