PublicationPurpose: In the current era of fake news, illusions, manipulations, and other artificial attributes of virtuality and reality, authenticity is a virtue that people highly appreciate. This study examines the influence of the personal brand authenticity of top football players on loyalty to the football discipline in general, via the mediation of personal brand identification. Design: Based on data collected from a convenience sample...

LSTM-based method for LOS/NLOS identification in an indoor environment
PublicationDue to the multipath propagation, harsh indoor environment significantly impacts transmitted signals which may adversely affect the quality of the radiocommunication services, with focus on the real-time ones. This negative effect may be significantly reduced (e.g. resources management and allocation) or compensated (e.g. correction of position estimation in radiolocalisation) by the LOS/NLOS identification algorithm. This paper...

Musical Instrument Identification Using Deep Learning Approach
PublicationThe work aims to propose a novel approach for automatically identifying all instruments present in an audio excerpt using sets of individual convolutional neural networks (CNNs) per tested instrument. The paper starts with a review of tasks related to musical instrument identification. It focuses on tasks performed, input type, algorithms employed, and metrics used. The paper starts with the background presentation, i.e., metadata...

Identification of category associations using a multilabel classifier
PublicationDescription of the data using categories allows one to describe it on a higher abstraction level. In this way, we can operate on aggregated groups of the information, allowing one to see relationships that do not appear explicit when we analyze the individual objects separately. In this paper we present automatic identification of the associations between categories used for organization of the textual data. As experimental data...

Novel Fault Identification for Electromechanical Systems via Spectral Technique and Electrical Data Processing
PublicationIt is proposed, developed, investigated, and validated by experiments and modelling for the first time in worldwide terms new data processing technologies, higher order spectral multiple correlation technologies for fault identification for electromechanical systems via electrical data processing. Investigation of the higher order spectral triple correlation technology via modelling has shown that the proposed data processing technology...

Deduplication of Position Data and Global Identification of Objects Tracked in Distributed Vessel Monitoring System
PublicationVessel monitoring systems (VMS) play a very important role in safety navigation. In most cases, their structure is distributed and they are based on two data sources, namely Automatic Identification System (AIS) and Automatic Radar Plotting Aids (ARPA). Such approach results in several objects identification and position data duplication problems, which need to be solved in order to ensure the correct performance of a given VMS....

Variable-structure algorithm for identification of quasi-periodically varying systems
PublicationThe paper presents a variable-structure version of a generalized notchfiltering (GANF) algorithm. Generalized notch filters are used for identification of quasi-periodically varying dynamic systems and can be considered an extension, to the system case, of classical adaptive notch filters. The proposed algorithm is a cascade of two GANF filters: a multiple-frequency "precise" filter bank, used for precise system tracking, and a...

Fake News: Possibility of Identification in Post-Truth Media Ecology System
PublicationInformation comes as basic good which affects social well-being. A modern society and a modern state – its administration, education, culture, national economy and armed forces – cannot function efficiently without a rationally developed field of information. The quality of the functioning of that system depends on a specific feature of information, that is namely: its reliability which makes it possible for us to evaluate accuracy,...

Mechanical exfoliation and layer number identification of single crystal monoclinic CrCl3
PublicationAfter the recent finding that CrI3, displays ferromagnetic order down to its monolayer, extensive studies have followed to pursue new two-dimensional (2D) magnetic materials. In this article, we report on the growth of single crystal CrCl3 in the layered monoclinic phase. The system after mechanical exfoliation exhibits stability in ambient air (the degradation occurs on a time scale at least four orders of magnitude longer than...
